Police arrested 9 BCL activists in connection with Abrar murder case. Bangladesh University of engineering and technology (BUET) students Abrar was beaten and killed by BCL. In this case, Police have arrested nine with a general secretary (BCL) of BUET.

Six people were identified in the murder case of Abrar:

The names of six of the detainees are known. General secretary (BCL) of BUET branch Mehedi Hasan Russel, Vice president Mustakim Fuad, Sports secretary Meftahul Islam Jion, Information and research secretary Anik Sarkar and BCL activists students of BUET departments of Mechanical engineering Tanvirul Abedin Ithan and Jisan.

Earliar, Sunday night Abrar was called out of room 1011. He was taken to room 2011. He was beaten to death in the room. Some Chhatro league leaders were in the room.

From found a source, during the time of interogation and beating of Abrar was in that room a few more third years students with Ifty and  Chhatra leauge Amit shaha, Mujtaba rafidh.

Dhaka metropolitan police (DMP) additional commissioner Abdul Baten said, A total of six have been identified in Fahad’s murder. They are being interrogated.

Meanwhile, today evening  Dhaka metropolitan police(DMP) additional commissioner Krisno Podo Ray said, Nine people have been arrested in connection with the Abrar murder case. In addition, CCTV footage will be taken against those involved.

Abrar’s Father filed a case against 19 people. Nine arrested.

Fahad body was recovered from the second floor of Sher-e-Bangla Hall in BUET on Sunday night. He is studying in the second year of the Electrical and electronics (EEE)department of BUET.

Awami league secretary Obaidul Quader said in a  press conference, All those involved in the Abrar murder have been arrested.

General students protest at the BUET campus in protest of the Abrar murder. All those involved in the murder were to be arrested.
