Former Sylhet Mayor Kamran dies from COVID 19

Former Sylhet Mayor Kamran dies from COVID 19. Badruddin Ahmed Kamran, former mayor of Sylhet City Corporation and central leader of Awami League, has died in a COVID 19 attack. He died at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka around 2.30 am. He was 69.

Awami League central organizing secretary Shafiul Alam Chowdhury Nadel has confirmed his death to the media.

On June 5, Kamran’s corona was found positive. He was admitted to the hospital the next day. Later, his condition deteriorated and he was brought to CMH on the evening of June 6.
